Eddie walker. That photo is amazing. Your dog looks great. Looks like a strong male. She's amazing. I can't wait for my 9week old male to get strong and big. I'll join in on the fun. My rocky had different weigh in at vet but ill use mine from home as they will be constant with my scale.

    8 weeks - 14 lbs
    9 weeks - 19 lbs

Here is Frankie's growth chart so far...

    Week 7 - 9.4lbs.
    Week 8 - 13lbs.
    Week 9 - 17.8
    Week 10- 19.6

The first couple of weeks we had her, I felt like I could visibly see her getting bigger. I'm glad the growth spurt has slowed recently though.

Sorry I didn't keep writing the weights down, and as he got bigger I couldn't get him to settle on a scale anymore. Although today we were at the vet so I got a good measurement.

    8weeks 14lbs
    9 weeks 19lbs
    11 weeks 28lbs
    13 weeks 34lbs.
    17 weeks 53lbs
38 weeks (one week shy of 9 months) 98lbs

Here are some picks of him.

    8 weeks

    6 months
    [IMG]

8 months on his horribly dirty couch that he loves so much in the garage

The above numbers are up to date. Frankie turned 8 months a few days ago. She's getting big, but her growth rate has slowed substantially. She's probably 24"-25" at the withers (best approximation). Given where she is now at 8 months, I'm assuming she'll be a 100lbs.+ dog when she is full grown.

    Pixie update:

She was the biggest in the litter of 7 puppies

    Week 8: 6.7 kg / 14,8 lbs
    Week 9: 8 kg / 17,6 lbs
    Week 10: 9 kg / 19,8 lbs
    Week 12: 11.4 kg / 25,1 lbs
    Week 14: 13.3 kg / 29.3 lbs
    Week 16: 15.3 kg / 33,7 lbs
    Week 17: 16,5 kg / 36,4 lbs
    ...
    Week 23: 23,5 kg / 51,8 lbs
    Week 25: 25 kg / 55,1 lbs
    ..
    Week 28: 28 kg / 61 lbs

She has very big paws, and everyone is always commenting on that...
Also now she is taller and longer than 2 bernese puppies that are month older than her :)

They grow so fast. I wish I would have been more diligent with taking pictures and recording her weight.

Perhaps there is room for improvement with the next BMD puppy. ;) I am hooked.

    Hi everyone,

So I'm a little worried about our boy Bear. He is ten months old and only weighs 66lbs. Anyone else have a small berner?

I just was reading about someone that has a 1 year old that weighs 77 lbs and she is healthy as a horse !! just petite. Does he eat and drink normally?? I wouldn't be too concerned. If you are really worried ask you vet. Bear is a quite handsome !:)
