I had seen another of your posts about Storms allergies to fleas and breakouts when swimming. Bowser gets bug or flea bites quite often in the summer and to soothe and help heal them faster I use a combo : 1 part mineral oil, 1 part listerine (name brand), and 2 parts water and spray it on the area. The mineral oil acts as a lubricant and listerine an antiseptic and helps them from licking area. Don't know if it's for you but thought I'd let you know.
Bowser had extreme itching on feet, knawing at paws, scratching all over. Hot spots on neck then face. He use to be on purina pro plan chicken and rice. He is now on the tast of the wild, which is venison and bison. Grain free. He no longer has gotten any hot spots nor the extreme scratching. he had an allergy to the grain and chicken. I can no longer give him even chicken based treats or bones.
The olive leaf and Pau D'arco I mentioned would be in order, as well as a good probiotic and regular bathing with phosphate and detergent free shampoo. Hope that helps.
Good Morning, I just looked at your albums of Storm. He is gorgeous!!! I also have a boy with a blue eye. How old is Storm ? Looks like he is enjoying his time in the snow. Before we know it the ground will be covered again.
